I’m Stuart Bruce and I’m passionate about innovation in public relations and communication. It’s what drives me to keep learning and to share that learning and experience to help develop the future of PR and corporate affairs.

I’ve been innovating in public relations and communications since the early 90s and am internationally recognised as a PR futurist. This means as well as advising clients all around the world I also trot around the globe (or Zoom!) to give speeches at conferences, comment in the media, give TV interviews and provide insight and quotes for business books.

I am a chartered public relations practitioner and a fellow of the CIPR and AMEC.

I’ve moderated the World Communication Forum in Davos and some of my keynote speeches include: Global Crisis Communications Summit of the International Air Transport Association in Istanbul; Economic Times Corporate Communications Summit in Mumbai; Global Alliance’s PR in Emerging Economies in Nairobi.

My 30+ year career includes co-founding one of the UK’s first digital PR consultancies and in two years, growing it to a PRWeek Top 150 consultancy; in-house stints at international business advisers Grant Thornton and the Labour Party; director of communications for two senior cabinet rank UK politicians; and ten years as an international business adviser and trainer.

I volunteer my time to develop the PR and communication profession. I sit on the PR Council of the PRCA and have served as a director of the CIPR.

I also volunteer as a judge for industry awards and, over the years, have judged numerous awards, including as international chair of the jury for the Davos Communications Awards 2021 run by the World Communication Forum in Davos. Other awards I’ve judged include CIPR, AMEC, Communicate DataComms Awards and the prestigious global SABRE Awards run by PRovoke Media.

I lecture at Leeds Beckett University in the UK and Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University in the Netherlands. I teach the CIPR Professional Diploma and the AMEC Measurement Certificate. I have also developed and delivered numerous professional training workshops and masterclasses for the CIPR.

I have authored industry reports, and contributed chapters and sections to numerous business books on a broad range of topics from communications strategy and social media to measurement and crisis communications.

I’m Tim Bailey and I am passionate about building digital-first organisations and applying digital technologies to product and process innovation. I encourage improvement and innovation through the horizontal transfer of ideas between sectors. I take a technology agnostic approach to identifying effective and economic solutions for the problems faced by client organisations.

I have led numerous digital transformation projects including digital newsrooms, content management systems (CMS), ecommerce, workflow and business processes, and contact relationship management systems (CRM). I work with a range of agile delivery methodologies (such as Waterfall, Scrum and Kanban) to deliver effective and profitable projects. My experience in project delivery means I lead project discovery to agree business objectives and identify where digital transformation will be most effective.

I was one of the world’s first heads of technology and innovation at a PR agency where I developed numerous ground-breaking digital projects. These included some of the world’s first social media newsrooms, including multi-language global platforms for Philips and Sony Ericsson. The technology solutions I developed contributed to 15% of the company’s revenue.

I led a £1 million+ project for a membership organisation to design and deliver website integration using an architecture and approach that enabled a £300k implementation saving on initial projections.

My leadership roles in digital agencies means I’ve extensive experience in developing collaborative cultures and the professional development of colleagues and team members through mentoring and coaching.

I have worked across multiple industry sectors both directly and as clients. These sectors include retail, publishing, finance, universities, trade and professional associations, government and the voluntary and third sectors.

My technology and vendor agnostic approach means I’ve worked with a wide range of commercial and open source technologies to solve a range of business challenges. These include corporate websites, content management systems, ecommerce for multi-million B2C and B2B companies, organisational change, databases, work scheduling, large dataset analysis, membership management systems, design and user experience, email and server infrastructure, workflow sytems, iOS and Android apps and much more.
